Prosperity Place was created in January 2026. The start of a new year full with optimism. It started with the name. I had decided I would create a artwork full of images of prosperity, to create something uplifting, light and fun.

I stayed in Cheltenham for the week, house sitting the two cats that feature in the picture. Whilst I was there I photographed shops in the town. Then I set to work bringing them to life in my creative world.

Each shop is named after words meaning prosperity, the Bounty Room, Opus House, Golden Dawn Galley, Prosper Studio and Goldsmith's Atelier and the florist is the actual florist on Montpellier Street, My Heart on a String.
