I took the original photograph on a sunny summer's day with my partner in 2024.
The little town of Mersea in Essex was full of people enjoying the day. It gave me so much pleasure to see how much it meant to the people to have such a perfect day. The beaches were full, the pub gardens were heaving and the queues at the fish and chip shops were only for the very patient or very hungry!
