Reflection

When I look at this artwork, I see a boat unable to move, grounded and waiting for the water to rise once more before it can embark on its journey again. It prompts me to reflect on life and the ebbs and flows we experience. At times, we are moving forward, enjoying adventure, overcoming challenges, meeting new people, and encountering new opportunities; life can be exhilarating, exhausting, and overwhelming. Then the coin flips once more, and we enter a quieter period, allowing us time to reflect and integrate what we have experienced. How have we changed? How have we grown? What lies ahead that we couldn't see before? What could we have done better?
These quiet periods are vital for growth; it is in these moments that we come to understand our lives and the path we have chosen to follow. Embrace these periods and recognise them for what they are, before the tide turns once more.
