A short story about the young woman in the painting inspired by my daughter who went to uni this year.

New friends, adventures, a new city to explore. A sense of relief washes over me; I finally have my own place at long last. But can I really live by myself? Am I capable of taking care of everything? Will I have enough money to get by?
I’m bursting with excitement as I contemplate all the possibilities that lie ahead.
Will I one day look back on these days as the happiest of my life?
Will I discover who I truly am here, amidst the new and old buildings of Edinburgh?
