I had so much fun creating this image. It has been 9 months in the making and the final step was taking photos at Holborn station after an exhibition in Mayfair in spring 2024.
Picture me with a suitcase carrying 9 framed pieces of art.
It was originally painted back in September 2024 and redone with new characters and photographs of the butterflies.
It's painted on with oils on canvas, glass and hardboard and has the element of photography reintroduced on certain parts of the picture. Most notably the butterflies and floor tiles.
